Applying & Removing Cafe Beauty Press OnsWhether it’s your first time wearing press ons or you’re an absolute pro, we recommend following these steps to ensure the longevity of your nails!Applying Your Nails
Step 1: Just like a classic manicure, prep is a critical step. Push back your cuticles with the wooden cuticle stick to remove excess skin.
Step 2: Cleanse the nail with an alcohol prep pad to ensure there are no oils or dirt on your hands, notes. This prep helps the press-ons better adhere to your nails.
Step 3: Since your nails are clean, begin to place your press ons on your natural nails to test the size and measurements. If needed to, use a file stick to make the press ons fit to your nail shape.

Only read if you’ve bought the Ultimate Care Kit
Step 4: Dust your hand if needed to, and begin to buff out your nails using the square shaped buffer, and begin to rub your natural nails to make sure the nail glue/tab sticks on to a rough surface.

(Tip: I recommend practicing where you’re planning to place it first and when you’re ready apply the nails to your dominate hand first because it will make applying the rest so much easier!)
Step 5: Place a SMALL dot of glue and spread it evenly to your nail DO NOT squeeze a big dab, a little goes a long way. If you need more to cover your nails, add more slowly, but please do not squeeze a lot out as it will result in press on nail & your own nail damage and the glue will spread onto your skin. Make sure the nails are aligned to your natural shape.
Step 6: If you purchased our cuticle oil, apply a small amount around the bed of your nails and rub it around the skin near your nail. Do not apply directly onto the nails as the oil may lift the glue

For a video demonstration it will be linked below! How to Remove Your Press Ons
Step 1: Prepare a small bowl of warm/hot water (not boiling)
Step 2: Add a few drops of cuticle oil or coconut oil into
the water
Step 4: Apply the same oil of your choice to your nail beds
and soak your hands into the water for 3-5 minutes

(Please note that depending on how much glue
you’ve applied also matters. which is why we highly
recommended to apply only a small amount of glue)

Step 4: Using the wooden cuticle stick, gently push around
your nails to see if you can feel any lifting. the nail should
naturally want to peel, if it’s still stuck, apply more oil
and soak into the water again.
Step 5: repeat this process, where you check if the nails
are lifting until all nails are removed.
Step 6: if you want to reuse your nails, with a new clean bowl
of warm water, apply drops of oils, and soak your press ons.
using the wooden cuticle pusher again, gently scrape the
glue off.
(If your nails had a clear/nude transparent back, please
understand that removing the glue will still leave
residue.)
If you happened to throw your wooden stick away, please click the link to the video below for some at home remedies!
PLEASE DO NOT USE ACETONE it will strip your press ons to a jelly/film like substance that cannot be reused.
For transparent nails, the glue residue may still show up on the nail. Many customers therefore request for a natural base so the glue is not apparent.
